"TownApp" (the "App") is an application that brings together community living information. The App is developed and provided by J&V Solutions (a subsidiary of our Japanese parent company "Jokan", Jokan Co., Ltd.). The App respects users' privacy and handles personal information and data appropriately, as described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Location: Used to display weather and disaster-prevention information around your current location and to identify your position on the map. Location is obtained only while the App is in use; it is not continuously collected in the background.
• Photos: When attaching an image to a disaster report, the App uses only the photo the user selects from the photo library. The App does not take pictures with the camera.
• Contact information (name, email address, phone number): Collected only when entered by the user in the photo-report (damaged public-facility report) and inquiry forms. Used to reply to reports and to contact the user for clarification.
• User-entered content: Text entered by the user in forms, such as the body of reports and inquiries.
• Device information and push notification token: The device model name, OS information, and push notification token are collected in order to deliver notifications.

2. Purpose of Use

The collected information is used to provide living, disaster-prevention, and disaster information; to display region-specific information; to receive and respond to disaster reports and inquiries; and to deliver notifications. We do not use the information for advertising purposes, sell it to third parties, or allow third-party tracking.

3. Provision to Third Parties

Except as required by law, we do not provide collected information to third parties without the user's consent.

4. Data Management and Retention

Collected information is managed appropriately to prevent leakage, loss, or alteration, and is retained only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Data is transmitted over encrypted communication (HTTPS).

5. Users' Rights

You may change or revoke permissions for location, photos, and notifications at any time from your device settings. If you wish to delete data already collected, please contact us using the information below.

6. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised in response to changes in laws or in the service. If there are significant changes, we will announce them on this page.
